H.E.L.P.S memberships will be for one year and will include the following:

*  H.E.L.P.S. newsletter sent via email (You must join the HELPSAnnouces list)

* Meetings for support, information, encouragement, and socialization

* Notification of field trips and special programs

* Discounted advertising space in the newsletter

* Various informational homeschooling flyers

* Special programs such as Winner’s Circles, and the Pizza  Hut "Book It" Program (when available)

* Advisement of legislative issues regarding home schooling

* Family membership card good for discounts at various stores and places of interest. ( Membership cards must be shown for field trip participation. Please pick up your membership card at a HELPS event.)

Annual Dues:  $20.00 per year per family for September 1 to August 31. 

Dues are not pro-rated.

 *Optional FPEA membership: $18.00  annually

 * Optional L.I.F.E. (Learning Is For Everyone ) membership:  FREE

 Membership Guidelines:    Applicants must agree with the goals and purpose of H.E.L.P.S.  Applicants must complete and sign a membership application and release of liability.  Members must be responsible for the safety and behavior of their own children at all times.  Members and their children are expected to treat other members with respect at all times.  Members are expected to act in accordance with the rules and regulations of the host facility at any H.E.L.P.S. gathering including but not limited to regular meetings and field trips. 

Members may not make any public representation of H.E.L.P.S. without prior approval from the Executive Committee. 

Membership may be terminated by the applicant, by the unanimous vote of the Executive Committee, or by a majority vote of the Board of Directors at any time if requirements are not met. 

Membership fees are non-refundable

Our newsletter and updates are sent via email, please make sure you are on our announcement list.  After you joined HELPS, you will receive an invitation to join our email list.
